Zusammenfassung

Bedford Care Centers is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with all dietary operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving meals, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean. You will help with stocking, meal service, and sanitation to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.

Excellent benefits are offered, and on-the-job training is provided. A drug screen and satisfactory criminal history background check are required for employment.

Qualifikationen

• Some experience in large-scale cooking services is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.
• Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish job duties.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check

Aufgaben

• Assists with checking in groceries, other supplies, storing food, other duties as instructed
• Assists in the preparation, set ups and serving meals, snacks, drinks and loading food carts
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, utensils, dishwashing area and any other areas in the Dietary Department or Dining Rooms as needed
• Assists in checking food trays for menu and diet accuracy and for Resident’s preferences
• Assists with proper storage of foods and supplies and communication regarding food and supplies availability
• Assists with cooking, operating dishwasher or other duties as requested and/or assigned
• Delivers food carts to Nursing Stations for service of meals
