Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation, cycle menu development, and sanitation tasks in a care-focused environment. The role includes monitoring temperatures and supporting clean-up after meals, helping maintain safe, prepared dining for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.
• Strong command of the English language and ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of meals and snacks as directed by the Cook and Head Cook.
• Assists in the preparation of cycle menus.
• Monitors and records refrigerator/freezer temperatures according to established schedules.
• Sanitizes small equipment and utensils between use according to policies and procedures.
• Performs general cleanup after meals, including but not limited to dishwashing, surface cleaning and mopping of floors.

This is an 8-12 hours per week position, working every other weekend.

What you will do as a Dietary Aide:
