Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living in Maine is seeking a Dietary Aide for the 3:30 PM–7:30 PM shift, 8–12 hours per week, every other weekend. You will assist in meal prep, help with cycle menus, and ensure safe food handling in a supportive team.

This position offers shift differentials, vacation pay, attendance rewards, referral bonuses, tuition assistance, health benefits, and a 401(k). Applicants must be 18+, provide immunization proof, and have strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.
• Strong command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal and snack preparation as directed by Cook and Head Cook.
• Help prepare cycle menus.
• Monitor and record refrigerator/freezer temperatures per schedule.
• Sanitize small equipment and utensils between uses.
• Perform general cleanup after meals (dishwashing, surfaces, mopping).

What you will do as a Dietary Aide:

• Sanitizes small equipment and utensils between use according to policies and procedures.
• Performs general cleanup after meals, including but not limited to dishwashing, surface cleaning and mopping of floors.
