Job summary

Marlora Post-Acute Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents at our Long Beach facility. The role includes maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment and ensuring meals are served according to dietary requirements.

Hours are 6:00AM-2:30PM. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior food service or healthcare experience, and knowledge of food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and cooking.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control.
• Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Hours are 6:00AM-2:30PM
