Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System seeks a Diet Clerk to perform clerical duties in support of patients, clinical dietitians, and patient meal services. You will work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring accurate meal orders and timely patient tray delivery.

Responsibilities include assisting with menu selections, communicating with patients and families, and using Diet Office and patient-care systems. High school diploma and basic English required; prior dietetics knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; English reading/writing required.
• Dietetics knowledge or related coursework preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and dietary needs.
• Support dietitians and clinical staff with clerical tasks.
