Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
This job is ON - SITE.
FTE: 0.50 (approx 20 hrs a week)
Shift: Shift 2 (may qualify for shift differential)
Provides direct one-on-one customer service for meal fulfillment from patients, nurses, and other disciplines (providers, speech therapy, dietitians). Has an in-depth understanding of diet and nutrient restrictions to ensure accurate and compliant meals, maintaining the integrity of diet orders. Communicates directly between healthcare disciplines for diet order verification and utilizes problem-solving skills to resolve issues and maintain diet order accuracy in computer applications (Epic and Cbord). Responsible for data analytics to ensure patient safety processes are met. The position requires meeting the needs of all five hospital entities without error to ensure meal order accuracy and fulfillment.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare food service or customer service, including work with computer applications involving customer service, food service, or a call center, is required. Knowledge of nutrition through coursework or experience is preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post-high school education is preferred.
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.
