Job Summary

Summary: Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Distribute and collect menus.
• Assist patients with menu selections in accordance with prescribed diets.
• Offer menu alternatives based on allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Plan and update menus based on current diet manuals.
• Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas accurately and timely.
• Manage human/donor milk and infant formula as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient rights policies.
• Follow regulatory standards including federal, state, and TJC.
• Complete documentation, reports, and logs.
• Adhere to infection control policies.
• Participate in Performance Improvement programs and teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
