Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, and drive trains. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment supporting drivers on routes and help keep the fleet operating.

Formación

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• Understanding of labor time standards.
• Experience with heavy-duty Class 7-8 trucks or similar equipment.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus.
• CDL is a plus.
• 3-5 years of technician experience or recent graduation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains knowledge and performs preventative and repair maintenance on heavy truck components and systems.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance;feed and hydraulic/electrical systems and air/brake systems.
• Light engine repair and maintenance.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• Heating and air conditioning; welding and fabrication.
• Safely provides road service when necessary to ensure equipment is returned to operation.
• Completes company training programs and other duties as assigned.

Conocimientos

Diagnose multi-system issues

Work order labor time standards

Maintenance on light/medium/heavy duty

ASE Certifications (T1-T8)

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

3-5 years technician experience

Valid driver’s license

Educación

Accredited automotive college or technical school

Graduate within 3 months (auto tech program)
