Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Massachusetts seeks a skilled heavy‑duty truck technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet tractors, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment.

You will perform PMs, inspections, electrical troubleshooting, A/C work, and road‑call service, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations; documentation in the online system and training of teammates.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
• PMs, tires/brakes, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet diesel equipment and related components.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings and other critical parts for safe operation.
• Ensure licensing and registration are current to meet roadworthy status.
• Document all work orders and repairs in the online system.
• Install, replace and repair onboard computers as needed.
• Train other employees and assist with related duties.
