Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician in Missoula to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will log repairs with Penske tools, diagnose basic vehicle issues, and collaborate with experienced supervisors and master technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT/OSHA safety requirements.
• Comfort using tools and solving problems; good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks on gas and diesel engines, tires, lubrication, and cooling systems.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on additional projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
