Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will log and diagnose vehicles, perform tire rotations and lubrication tasks, and support a safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use a variety of tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety and readiness for customers.
• Utilize Penske tools/technologies to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching.
• Contribute to other projects as assigned by supervision.

Basic mechanical aptitude
