Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet at our Liverpool, NY location. You will use Penske tools to diagnose and repair vehicles while focusing on safety, reliability, and customer service.

Second shift 2pm–10:30pm with a starting rate of $25.25/hr plus a $3.00 shift differential, offering growth opportunities and strong training through Penske’s Technician Certification Program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use Penske tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as tire rotation and lubrication of components.
• Collaborate with management to learn new skills through Penske training programs.
• Handle additional projects assigned by supervision.
