Job summary

Penske in Delaware, OH is seeking a Technician for the 2nd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 3:00pm-11:30pm). You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a broad fleet, using Penske’s tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools effectively.
• DOT/OSHA safety policies adherence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and safe-keep vehicles for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire replacement/rotation and lubrication tasks.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills via Penske's training programs.
• Take on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
