Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy duty vehicles. This full-time role offers a 2nd shift (12:00 pm - 8:30 pm), weekly pay, and strong benefits. CDL-A is preferred and CDL within 6 months may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical Certification preferred.
• Valid CDL-A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Conducts standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Performs preventive maintenance and replaces defective components.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
