Ryder System, Inc. in Stoneham, MA is seeking a mid‑level diesel technician to perform vehicle maintenance and repair on heavy‑duty trucks. The role offers a stable career path with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Shift is second with 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Monday–Friday and weekends off. Compensation includes hourly pay, advancement bonuses, tool allowances, and 401(k) matching. Training and safety are prioritized.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years or more combined classroom training and work in diesel/mechanical repair.
• Basic tools required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Mansioni

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Follows safety, DOT, and MOT guidelines.
