Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Nazareth, PA is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy-duty diesel vehicles. The role offers weekly pay, a strong benefits package, and opportunities for certifications and bonuses.

Shifts are second shift, 1:30 pm–10:00 pm, Monday–Friday with weekends off. A CDL Class A is preferred, and the company supports ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, brake and tire work

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer
• Identifies root cause of basic failures and performs repairs
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Adheres to safety, DOT, MOT and corporate guidelines
