Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of heavy vehicles.
• CDL-A preferred or ability to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems, using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
