Ryder is hiring aMid-LevelDiesel Technician in Neenah, WI — providing a stable company for your career with weekly pay and excellent benefits.

Hourly pay is $29.25 per hour with a Certification Bonus up to $700 and a Quarterly Bonus up to $500. The shift is 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday with weekends off. Ryder offers medical/dental/vision, PTO from day 1, 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and more benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certification post secondary degree or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
• Routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, brake and tire work
• Two years or more of related training/experience
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Performs facility maintenance duties
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Complies with safety/DOT/MOT regulations
• Performs other duties to support operations
