Job summary

The successful candidate will work on heavy-duty vehicles with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools, on a Monday–Friday schedule, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, with opportunities for bonuses and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 2+ years of combined classroom and work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months.
• Must pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test and background check in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and replaces defective components.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to clarify the issue.
• Follows safety, DOT, MOT guidelines and company policies.
