Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in New Brunswick, New Jersey is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join our team on the second shift. You will work on heavy-duty vehicles with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools, earning weekly pay and a strong benefits package.

The role includes preventive maintenance, component repairs, and diagnostics using a diagnostic computer. The schedule is Monday–Saturday with specific off days, and CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years or more of classroom training and work experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint and task.
