Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair our fleet. Enjoy weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Work on the second shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday–Friday with weekends off. CDL Class A is preferred; basic tools are required. Excellent benefits start after 30 days and include PTO and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification post-secondary degree or technical certifications preferred.
• Two years or more of classroom training and work experience in diesel repair preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Basic tools required.

Responsabilités

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the complaint.
• Performs safety, DOT and company compliance.
• Performs other support duties as required to support operations.
