Ryder System, Inc. in Allentown, PA is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy‑duty vehicles on a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will work with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics and tools in a safety‑driven shop environment.

The role offers $24.00 per hour, plus a certification bonus program and quarterly bonuses, with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits along with paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of diesel engines including preventive maintenance.
• CDL Class A preferred and must obtain CDL within 6 months if hired.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Conducts standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Performs preventive maintenance and diagnoses problems with diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with drivers to determine nature of the complaint and documents work.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and company guidelines and supports operations.
