Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a path for career growth.

The position features a third shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am with Monday–Friday schedules and weekends off. Earned bonuses include certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, and merit-based raises. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of automotive engines including maintenance.
• 2+ years of training/experience preferred.
• CDL class A preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Conduct standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
• Identify root cause and perform repairs as needed.
• Interact with drivers to determine nature of complaints and tasks.
