Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is hiring a Technician in Chattanooga to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will use Penske tools and perform basic diagnostics while ensuring safety and reliability.

You’ll work with experienced supervisors, receive industry-certified training, and have opportunities for career growth in a hands-on environment at a top fleet maintenance operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use basic shop tools effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors; comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on diverse fleet.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; address electrical and cooling system maintenance.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills via hands-on coaching and training.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
