Penske in Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced Technician I to lead maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, performing preventive services and diagnosing issues to keep vehicles on the road.

You’ll gain exposure to Penske’s maintenance processes, advanced technology, and ongoing training while collaborating with a team in a safety-focused, well-equipped shop environment that supports career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and ASE/CDL-related training is valued
• Experience with OEM equipment and safety protocols required

Responsabilités

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision
• Repairing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacement of assemblies
• Keeping work area clean and safe
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log and complete repairs and basic diagnostics
• Learning Penske’s technician training programs to advance skills
• Working on other projects as assigned by supervisor
