Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician in Salt Lake City. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, diagnose issues, and log work using Penske tools while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred.
• Ability to follow DOT/OSHA safety rules and travel within the district.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske’s tools to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Take on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
