Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician in Salt Lake City. You will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet, using Penske tools and diagnostics to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

You will learn Penske processes and participate in our technician training program to grow your career. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of auto/diesel repair experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies, including DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsabilités

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance like tire replacement/rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and coaching.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
