Penske is hiring an entry-level Diesel Technician/Mechanic III at our La Vergne location. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, while learning Penske’s maintenance processes with expert mentors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas and diesel vehicles.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Attend to other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
