Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a mechanically inclined technician for our Auburn, ME location. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet, with hands-on coaching from experienced technicians and ongoing training to advance your career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned.
