Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• The associate must understand and comply with Penske management instructions and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring vehicles are safe for customers.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, and some electrical/cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel engines.
• Collaborating with the manager to learn new skills through Penske’s training and hands-on coaching.
• Handling additional projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
