Penske Truck Leasing Co. is seeking a skilled Technician in Auburn, AL to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes, use advanced tools, and receive industry-certified training to grow your career.

This role offers a stable, full-time path with a competitive starting salary, schedule Tue-Sat 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and strong benefits. You'll work alongside experienced mentors to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical vehicle repair certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to follow DOT/OSHA safety policies and Penske safety guidelines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and safely repair vehicles; perform preventative maintenance.
• Use Penske tools to log, diagnose and complete repairs.
• Perform tire rotation, lubrication, and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Collaborate with supervisor on other projects as needed.
