Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician at our Auburn, AL location. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of equipment, logging diagnostics with Penske tools and working closely with experienced supervisors to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and outdoors.
• Willingness to follow safety policies (DOT/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep them safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, diagnose and complete repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance including tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching.
• Handle other projects as assigned by supervisor.
