Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an Automotive Technician in North Liberty, IA. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service vehicles to keep customers safe and on the road.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and on‑the‑job coaching.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
