Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician at the North Liberty, IA location. You will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on the fleet, using Penske tools and diagnostics to keep vehicles safe and road-ready.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred; relevant technical certification is a plus.
Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to follow instructions, use tools, and perform safety protocols.
Good customer service and communication skills; able to work in a team and outdoors.
Basic computer skills; comply with Penske safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Maintain and safely operate vehicles to ensure road readiness.
Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools, including basic diagnostics.
Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication, some electrical and cooling system work.
Learn new skills through Penske training and hands-on coaching.
Tackle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
