Qualifications

• Six years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis and troubleshooting of engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE/608/609 preferred.
• Experienced using diagnostic and shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engines and transmissions.
• Keep work area clean and safe and log repairs with Penske tools.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Adhere to Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA regulations.
