Penske is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician/Mechanic III in Charlotte to maintain and repair a diverse fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes and use advanced diagnostic tools while receiving industry-certified training to grow your career.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, customer-service focus, and the willingness to learn safety policies and DOT requirements. This onsite role offers stability and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills; follow safety and maintenance policies.

Responsabilidades

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske's tools and technologies, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotations and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system work.
• Learn new skills with manager coaching and Penske training.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor.
