Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a dedicated Technician in El Paso, TX to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will contribute to customer safety, reliability, and vehicle performance while learning Penske’s maintenance processes and tech certifications.

You’ll work with experienced supervisors in a clean, well-equipped shop and have opportunities for career growth and benefits. A strong mechanical inclination and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel engines, including tires and lubrication tasks.
• Learn and grow through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
