Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Selma, TX is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will help keep vehicles safe and on the road while learning Penske's maintenance processes and certification programs.

You'll work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, using Penske's tools and training to grow your career. The role offers stability, competitive pay, and opportunities across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety policies (DOT/OSHA).
• Willingness to travel within nearby geography for training.
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor.
