Job summary

Penske Beaumont is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our well‑maintained fleet. You’ll log work, use Penske tools, and help keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Whether you’re starting out or bringing repair experience, you’ll receive hands-on training from senior technicians and have growth opportunities in a stable, safety‑driven environment at our Beaumont location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use basic diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures vehicles are safe for customers.
• Uses Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Performs preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication and basic electrical/cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines.
• Collaborates with manager to learn new skills via Penske’s training and hands-on coaching.
• Adheres to safety policies and performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
