Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate tools safely.
• Comfort using basic computer systems and Penske tooling.
• Commitment to safety policies, including DOT/OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Collaborate with supervisor to learn new skills through Penske training.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
