Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use basic tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Uses Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Performs preventative maintenance and component lubrication and replacement on gas and diesel engines.
• Learns new skills with the help of managers and trainers.
• Participates in additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
