Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician in Bowling Green, KY to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will use Penske tools, diagnose issues, and ensure vehicles remain safe for customers.

The team environment emphasizes learning and growth through hands-on coaching. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably a vehicle repair certification or experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske’s tools, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, and handle electrical and cooling system upkeep.
• Partner with manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Attend to other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
