Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician in Cincinnati to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles. You will use Penske tools to diagnose and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics, while logging work and collaborating with your supervisor.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to learn Penske processes and safety policies. This is a union shop with shift options including opening on 2nd/3rd shift; strong training and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to learn Penske processes and safety policies

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to keep vehicles safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Perform maintenance like tire replacement/rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through training and coaching with supervisors.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team on additional tasks
