Penske is hiring a Technician in South Portland, ME. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet, helping customers stay on the road. You’ll use Penske’s tools and training to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• DOT/safety compliance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske’s tools
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills and participate in training
• Support other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Skills

Mechanical aptitude
