Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is seeking a technician in Mount Juliet, TN to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will use Penske's tools and standards to keep vehicles on the road.

No day is the same as you’ll learn through hands-on coaching, gain industry-certified training, and have opportunities for advancement. The role requires a high school diploma and valid license; DOT/OSHA compliance is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and components lubrication, some electrical and cooling system work on gas/diesel engines.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills via Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
