Penske Truck Leasing Co. is seeking a Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment at our Chattanooga location. You will work independently on major and minor repairs, conduct road tests, and mentor junior technicians while advancing your own skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• ASE or 608/609 certifications preferred.
• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT-based screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure safety of vehicles for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training.
