Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. seeks a Technician II to diagnose and perform basic and advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will work with limited supervision to optimize performance, safety, and reliability in a busy shop setting.

You should have a Diesel Technology degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in Class 7/8 trucks, and welding/airbrake credentials. Tools and PPE are provided; productivity is rewarded with bonuses and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associate degree is required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Welding experience and airbrake certification.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions and services.
• Maintain 80% productivity and reduce comebacks.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, lubrication, filters.
