Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. is seeking a Technician III responsible for comprehensive preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will train other technicians, perform advanced diagnostics, and manage complex repairs in a high-volume shop environment.

Qualifications

• Training new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Diagnostic experience with vehicle systems and components.
• Welding experience for repairs and fabrications.
• Strong customer service skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and components with proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot suspension, steering, electrical, exhaust, and A/C systems.
