Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Diesel Technician II in New Castle to perform preventative maintenance, basic and advanced repairs, and diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will work with limited supervision to diagnose system failures and suggest repairs.

Applicants should have a Diesel Technology Associates degree and 3+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, including knowledge of brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associates degree is required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services (oil changes, filters, lubrications).
• Repair, adjust, and replace brakes and related components.
