Penske is hiring a Technician II in Jessup, MD, offering a Sunday-Thursday night shift and a pay of $31.51/hour. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, diagnose issues, and mentor newer technicians as you grow with the team.

Your role includes working with Penske’s cutting-edge maintenance processes, using company tools, and participating in ongoing technician training to advance your career in a safety‑conscious, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, differentials and related components.
• Keep workspace clean and safe.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools and technologies; perform basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
